5 Motivating Films

Films that leaves a lasting impression on you are the best type of films.

Here’s a list of films that help motivate me when I’m not up for doing anything.

1. Rocky

Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is a boxer struggling to make it big time when he is given the chance to fight the heavy weight champion, Apollo Creed. Rocky trains harder than he thought possible to gain his own self-respect.

 

2. It’s a Wonderful Life

It’s a Wonderful Life (1946), Directed by Frank Capra.

An angel, Clarence, is sent to help George Bailey, a man who gave up his dreams of travelling and building skyscrapers to help his town. Clarence shows Bailey what the town and his family would be like if he was never born.

 

3. Braveheart

This film tells the story of the legendary William Wallace, who leads a rebellion against the English monarch and Edward I.

 

4. Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) is a man with a low IQ. This film follows his journey through life but during each period of his life he always thinks back to Jenny Curran (Robin Wright), his childhood sweetheart.

 

5. Remember the Titans

Based on true events, a successful black coach has been given the job of being head coach over an equally as successful white coach at the new integrated school. The team learn to accept each other and work together which in turn helps both the coaches as well as the community learn from them in accepting each other despite being of a different race.
